WALK ON

Years from now when the Autumn leaves fall

Yellows and reds and greens and browns

When swallows ring their happy call

And the lives are full of smiles and frowns

When children play and run and cry

When the young folks live and old folks die

when the sun has set a million times

Moonlight kissing billions of minds

Years from now when our children are old

Grandmothers and Grandfathers of our soul

In the blink of an eye of old father time

and your still mine, oh yes still mine

I hold your hand and i sing you a song

Of all the good and bad times gone

You look in my eyes and see all our years

and we walk on.

With happy tears

no more fears

hand in hand

Always connected

Like a wedding band

We walk on.
