VALENTINE LOVE

Deeply feel I the aura of the
all embracing power of your love
so tenderly apportioned from your heart
enticing, capturing my every emotion
till I can no longer bear the thought
of being distant, apart from the very one
whose overpowering warmth of love
I am happily commanded to obey
sweet light of day shine upon my love
engulf her with your warm radiance
yet realize that the brightness of your rays
cannot but a fraction match her radiant soul
shining forth like beacons of love
beckoning me closer in a state entranced
by smiling charm until so overwhelmed
that exhaustedly I fall into your arms
