Is
her beauty
with
skin so soft and
haunting
eyes that magically hold your gaze;
desirable
lips, a beautiful smile
white
teeth reflecting bright sunlight,
an
enticing body that
gently
sways with her gait,
a
most ladylike figure
to
grace one's sight.
She
came of her own
from
a far off land
to
observe, study and learn;
her
presence here
for
but a compressed time,
yet
even so from day to day
as
our minds dared to meet
we
found ample ground for mutual
respect,
understanding, togetherness.
Although
well traveled,
exposed
to societies of many lands,
her
psyche both consciously and sub
seemed
somewhat still to inhibit her
from
breaking loose of the instilled
values
and culture of her parental past.
That
built in safety valve serves her well,
for
who knows what may have happened
had
her emotional screen been lowered
allowing
her the liberty to follow
the
true dictates of her heart.
