UNDYING LOVE

It seemed it couldn’t be done
Her love could never be won,
Yet here I am happy to say
Her true love is here to stay.

How did it happen
What turned her on?
Kind words spoken,
Pledges of love made?

It was none of the above,
Instead our eyes opened
Revealing our true hearts,
Blending our pure radiance.

That magic moment
Set off the spark
Intertwining two hearts
Into a permanent One.
