TRANSITION

Clever, persistent
an almost constantly
moving bundle of energy
she knows what she wants -
a winning smile,
an imploring look,
a pointing finger
few words spoken
invariably, success is hers.

What can you say to her,
what can you do to her,
as she uses her already
winning ways
to accommodate you
thus in turn
completely conquering you.

All this at a very tender age,
yet even now she knows
her womanly ingrained ways
that will only be
developed, sharpened and honed
as she proceeds on life's way.

Yes, her future is quite clear,
she will attain that
which she strives for and wants
her determination, skill and allure
will certainly open many doors
permitting her, for one
to walk the path of life
with happiness and ease.
