Too soon spring buds
to autumn leaves turn
 too soon from cradle
to adulthood we churn,
racing along hardly able
to be civil to be amiable
not enough time for self
nor for family or friends
the time we do make oft
useless, frivolously spent
we might rue our lost time
as we draw near our end.

To improve this situation
let us use some imagination
haste makes waste it is said
so lets slow down look ahead
take time to think to plan, shed
those impulses to speed instead
let us learn to relax use our head
  analyze question do not be misled
your knowledge intuition is the test
think and you will know what is best
  life as we live it is going far too fast
enjoy people, nature, while it lasts.
