THOUGHTS FOR YOU
Something
profound
Something wise
Something humorous
Something nice.
All of us
Without exception
Are tenants on this planet
For the years of our lives.
What we do
How we do it
When we do it
Where we do it
Is in large part up to us.
Most of us are creatures of time
Seconds, minutes, hours, days
Weeks, months, years pass by
Age seems to accelerate our clock
There is a limit
To how long
We can prudently
Stay around.
We are too busy
To stop and think
What am I doing
Is this the right thing.
Most have a conscience
That they politely ignore
Some things that are right
May actually be wrong
Some things that are wrong
May actually be right
Too difficult to chose
Right from Wrong or
Wrong from Right.
All societies
Great and small
Had their ups and downs
Many with a great fall.
Religions too
Have mushroomed and spread
Some more aggressive
Have posed a great threat.
So each need to choose
If choose they can
Find their right niche in life
Do the best they can.
