THE DANCE

Some live the dance for a moment
I live the dance for life
the turns
the twist
the spins
the swirl of skirts
the rustle of cloth
and I see her in fluid grace
step into my life, my dance
I bow and take her hand
smile and I bring her into the dance
kiss and she will be part of the dance
and she smiled as I kiss her hand.
