THE RIGHT TO LOVE
Love, a vital quality of Nature
is duly inherent in all creatures.
Perhaps, the higher the level
of classification,
the more complex the need and emotion become.
Most societies, have over time,
established
rites, rituals, covenants, laws regarding love.
How, when, where, why we fall
in love is by and large
in most societies left to each individuals unique passion,
as is the length, duration, intensity and committment.
It is when overwhelming emotions, feelings overcome us
with a new, different person to love, that we lose control,
attempt to circumvent established rules to achieve our goal,
oft leading to disastrous consequences for all in such a role.
Yet, despite the vagaries of personal
love,
Love itself, is an unconquerable emotion -
destined to thrill, excite, dominate most of us
at various stages throughout our lives,
no matter, how we, as individuals, react to it.
