Relationship Concerns
(on the lighter side)

Isn't funny how it works
whether younger or older
you meet, date, fall in love
everything is honky dory
until you become serious.

Suddenly you’re not alone
there may be family, friends
relatives, previous matrimonies
children, growing or grown up
many may try to influence, opine.

As if that were not enough
lovers may delve more deeply,
discover new strange facts
issues may rise - financial, social
religious, health, wealth – concerns.

Probability is good that either party
has some ‘baggage’ that they carry
sufficiently serious it can’t be overcome,
one party may be more giving, lenient –
still if the other digs in their heels
there is little left that can be done,
that relationship is likely forgone.
