PLEASANT THOUGHTS
Deep in my
heart
a desire to
start
a friendship
with
someone now
apart.
On a few occasions
we have met
before
mutual admiration
two seem to
adore.
Both now widowed
we are at
a crossroad
unless action
is taken
all hope may
be shaken.
My dream of
success
may soon be
assessed
through an
invite from her
to attend
a festive affair.
