PINK HARBINGERS

Softly fragile delicate blossoms
Bathed in warmth of midday sun
Gently rocked by ocean breezes cool
Their fragrance inhaled as perfume
Adorning artful branches of a tree.

The tree itself with twists and turns
Leans away from prevailing storms
Its branches similarly their strain show
Despite all impediments of nature thrown
Yearly a renewal of birth with beauty grows.

My Love too of strong roots grown
Her offsprings the branches sown
Her warmth, gentleness Nature’s own
Storms the vagaries of life have blown
Blue and yellow her deep love glows.

Alas when rotation cooler weather brings
With strong rains and blustery winds
Stripping bare branches and tree alike
How and when does then my Love decide
Which path to take- she has HER guide.
