A BEAUTIFUL PERSON       Have you ever wondered,   Have you ever thought   Just what it takes   To make a person   Particularly exceptional   In so many varied ways   To earn that general   Acknowledged title,   Of a person beautiful.       Most stand in sincere   Admiration and awe   When that rare   Opportunity occurs   To personally interface   With one so called.   There is an aura   Of gentleness, of kindness   And understanding ways,   A feeling of good will   Of inner peace and happiness.       We are instantly transformed,   Elated with the experience   Taken to a higher plane   Than ever before   Appreciative of every moment   That this rare event accords.       Why can´t we all be   Outstanding and beautiful   Is there some magic formula.   Do we each aspire and strive   To do the best for everyone;   How many of us can affirm this.   You can readily agree with me,   The answer is virtually always,   Not really me.       Yet, there is some good in each of us   And quite a lot in many.   There is quirk in our thinking though   That blocks our being outstanding   It is, my concerns first above everyone   And that is our undoing.       The very next time   Should you have the chance   To meet with a person beautiful   Take heed to mend your ways   For you too can strive to be one.         HERBERT HOLZBAUER
