One could say for most of us anyway
our patience varies in different ways
 depending on what it is we are awaiting
usually a pending action hopefully abating
since in most cases it is out of our control.

Someone else is making the decision
on an action based on our assumption
that our request is valid, to be granted
for it may affect our future aspiration
altering our lives in quite different ways.

We have the ability to adjust our patience
in tune with the severity of our application
be it permissive, materialistic or emotional
placing our composure, endurance, fortitude
on line with our other attributes determining
what our tolerance level really is in coping with
our true emotions when it comes to being patient.
