OVERWROUGHT

Most people face several crises in their life,
some caused by Natural disasters, others by
conflicts, wars, economic downturns, health,
family, personal losses, disappointments of
various significance, usually unannounced but
overwhelmingly grim, generally non reversible.

Natural calamities caused by earthquakes,
storms, floods, tornadoes, fires among others
are usually not man made though many people
may be affected, becoming victims or casualties;
similarly, man induced disasters, such as wars,
terrorism, deforestation, environmental concerns,
result in overwhelming harm, death, grief, losses.

When events accrue to you personally
when your world is shaken to its roots,
do you resign yourself to your new fate,
despair, withdraw, unable to face facts
unsure of where to seek or obtain help,
feeling dispirited, lost, alone, without hope.

Take heart, assess your personal situation
review all options, available alternatives,
revert to your primary emotions, characteristics,
in them you will find your inner strengths such as
courage, fortitude, determination, the will to live,
to carry on, to not give up but to look to the future,
find that silver lining, take the best that is within you,
overcome your adversity by physically, psychologically,
spiritually remaking yourself into a brand new you.
