ON THE UPSIDE

Though times are tough

Making a living is rough

Try to muddle through

What else can one do.

Strong storms come and go

High seas regain their low

Heavy rains rainbows show

Spring melts ice and snow.

There is a balance in Nature

As there is in man’s future

Adjustments, time, patience

Result in vast improvements.

Sunshine and moon glow

Children play and grow

Our seasons come and go

Signs of hope as we know.

So bear it with a hopeful heart

Work hard towards a fresh start

Endure with fortitude and be glad

Knowing eventually you won’t be sad.
