NightMare

Light danced across the polished wood floor.
Snoring broke the silence of the night.
Slowly, peeping my head over the white painted wood, darkness met my face.
Its lips curled revealing yellow glow-in-the-dark teeth.
Glowing, the lips of the creature shut its lips and continued snoring.
Its nostrils flaring, it moved it arms a little and then fell back to its earlier position.
Scared half to death, I shook my head, trying to clear my mind.
I blinked-- it was still there.
I blinked twice-- it was still there.
I blinked thrice-- it was still there but-
I was not…
Darkness surrounded me, as stuffy air greeted me,
I was in the stomach of the creature that was still there….
I would never see the world again.

Alas!
Indeed I did see the world again-
I opened my eyes to a bright light- the sun.
Thank goodness,
It was only a dream-
Thank goodness I am alive!
Waaait….
Am I really alive or-
Am I just in Heaven?
