NEW YEAR THOUGHTS

Events, circumstances, situations
Of yonder year - fade, be done,
Imprint in my memory only those
Positive, pleasant ones of vast value,
Suppress into my sub conscious the
Most vile, hurtful, damaging ones.

Let me find happiness, tranquility
Through help I may offer others,
With caring, sustenance, shelter
Hoping the resolve, determination
Within to be sufficient, permitting
Defeat of all emergencies, difficulties.

To that end, I hope for
A Year of good health
One of sufficient wealth
Of emotional stability
Fully creative continuity
Above all one of Love.
