Music created universal
before time immemorial
at first mimicking nature
slowly less than primitive
native, chants, melodies
finally the musical scale
innovations, instruments
composers compositions
divine inspiring for all time
works of song music drama
now theatrically combined
music of all kinds, all around
we listen, we hear, we recall,
music in our hearts and mind
yet most significant is its
  true meaning for our soul.

What will I do when I'm with you
and there is no music to hear
how will I then render your heart
how can I then win your love
in the silent absence of notes-
your love will bloom
your heart will spoon
when I serenade you with song
you will be pleased
you will be eased
as the evening wears on
now you will be mine
I will be yours
all to the music in rhyme
lets not hesitate
lets not stall love
in this night of three quarter time.
