MAKING DO
Feeling Blue
I do too
In times of stress
Need to do our best
Be it an empty wallet
Or a heartthrob gone sour
Let’s enjoy the sunshine
Admire beautiful flowers.
Sleepless nights
Worry and care
You may rightly be scared
Too much to handle
May have to turn off the lights
Resort to a makeshift candle
There is hope in sight
Just before the bottom drops out
If you are persistent you may just luck out.
Use your head
Steeled by your heart
Look at all the options you got
Visit, call, pester, show up
Be persistent don’t skip a day
This is serious, no child’s play,
An old adage may say
The squeaky wheel is the one that gets greased,
Sooner or later
They may pay attention to you
Just to get you out of their sight,
So don’t give up – stand up - fight for your rights.
