LIFE

Praised be the seed of eons gone by,

that together with all the pertinent ingredients of nature,

caused the spark from which ensued, the miracle of life;

the beat of heart, the flow of breath,

the birth of life, cherished beyond all else,

nurtured, molded and caressed, until

like the elements constant in their form,

over countless years,

woman to man is born.

Infant, child, adolescent, adult

her presence now a force,

in life, in mind, in body and soul.

Beautiful, mature and strong,

understanding, dignified, gentle and kind,

an endless reservoir of human love.

Then blessed is man

who has found his mate,

has sought and won

and turned the tide,

for true love is his, forevermore

as woman becomes a part of man,

and he, a part of all mankind.
