Love is what dreams are made of
our dreams that turn into love
I love you, you love me, we love each other
our love is boundless, enduring, timeless
love that is all encompassing, overpowering
love that is precious, caring, beautiful
love that puts a sparkle in our eyes,
color in our cheeks, a smile on our lips
love that plays tricks with our minds
raises our temperatures, our heartbeat
love for which we make vows, commitments
lose our heads, lose our hearts
love that we cannot do without,
without love we find it difficult to carry on.

Love is such a powerful emotion
ingrained in our psyche from
the dawn of time and  yet
we have as many definitions
as there are people for no one,
up to this time, has measured love
tested it, engineered it, quantified it,
dissected it, proven its existence but
we thrive on love, love is everywhere;
my sweetest darling, dearest one
may I have just one ounce
of your precious love.
