JUDGMENTAL ERRORS

When disappointments, mistakes are made
We tend to excuse ourselves, blame others
There are times when in fact, it is really so,
More often than not, we have but us to blame
What underlying reasons could thus make it so?

One main fallacy is that we think we know
How the other person thinks, reacts but lo
We suffer a resounding unexpected, final no
Startled, jolted, thinking, how can this be so
The person we knew, we really do not know.

We fail to recognize each person’s individuality,
Acknowledge each person is unique in their psyche
Each using their own vital emotional DNA imprint,
To external stimuli, interpreted, reacted to internally
Conforming to needs, desires, agenda of importance,
Their priorities may be entirely divergent from ours –
Our Judgmental Errors need correction, or we fall again.
