INSIGHT
We often
wonder we weigh, judge,
analyze, evaluate, ponder, concentrate
in an attempt to find the answer
to questions that are important,
relevant to our thoughts
to our well being,our success
or our happiness as the case may be.
Yet no matter how hard we try
we often do not succeed in our
various efforts to attain that
clarity that depth of meaning
for which we are searching in vain,
mainly because most of us
are poorly equipped to have
gained the expertise, the knowledge
the ability to function in a manner
that will provide the necessary
thought processes to give us
the insight that we are so
desperately seeking.
Insight,
garnered over years
of life's experiences,
life's vagaries, its ups and downs
the joys and sorrows, life and death
which make us mature over many years
provide that type of exposure
where we can gain the insight
necessary to be able to judge,
to ascertain given situations,
to make meaningful, pragmatic choices
to avert that which otherwise might
end in disaster, unhappiness, and possible
destruction of that very thing that we are trying to prevent -
Give yourself the opportunity to reflect, ponder
over that which you must resolve,
take time and effort to find the very answer
which best suits your own problem
by using all the amassed insight at your command.
