FROGS
I
sat on a rock by a pond
two frogs
my eyes were upon
they were
jumping around
trying to
avoid touching the ground.
I
thought I was funny so I giggled
but the
frogs made their eyes at me wiggle
as though
they understood what I thought
and believed
that it was battle not worth being
fought.
I
set my eyes towards the sky
and saw
the frogs were after a fly
they both
put their tongues out
one hit
the fly, and the other my mouth.
So
the morale I learned today
Is never
be in the way
Of a pair
of frogs flying
At least
when its near lunchtime.
