EVER SO LONG AGO

There once was a castle, so ever long ago
Knights that slew marvelous dragons.
The wondrous wizard, Merlin, telling of the future with magic.
Beautiful maidens, dresses shining with gold,
And the queen lying on her silver throne.
Above them all, the highest rank was, the king of the castle!
His purple cape outlined with fur, holding his dear wife's hand.
Think of these things, of adventure and glory, and never forget them, remember.

From the Lady of the Lake in her silk gown,
To the sword in the stone only one could get out.
Brave King Arthur, retrieved the sword, Excalibur, with pride and care.
Dark caves reveal, hideous monsters,
Which almost no one could take care of!
Then came a king, who took his sword, and slashed the evil thing!
Foul to Sweet, Good to Bad, those who are mad men,
These things are true, older than you, and
anyone who stands on this world now.
Think of these things, of adventure and glory, and never forget them, remember.

These were the medieval, wonderful days, and Earth is where castles stood.
But those days are gone and we are left, a dull world indeed.
Think of these things, of adventure and glory, and never forget them, remember.
