GREATNESS
Each century of recorded time
has produced a singularly
remarkable extraordinarily
prominent distinguished mind.
History abounds with those
who have earned the right to
grandeur, fame and eminence.
Whatever the field of endeavor
be it art, literature, science,
philosophy, politics, music,
religion or inventiveness,
we find the incredibly
towering genius of an
astonishingly immense and
enormously far-ranging mind
that has as its final achievement
permanently left the imprint
of human greatness
for all of man.
Will there be some amongst us now
that will take up the torch and follow
that very special road of a lifetime of
dedicated work, evoking great insight
together with amazing intellectual
discovery, to further advance the plight
of civilization as it continues to evolve
from where we now are
to somewhat a more advanced state.
Will future historians thus indicate
that such unique persons also deserve
to be categorized as, "Great".
