We have been given the
earth, the moon, the stars,
we have been given the
mountains, valleys and plains,
we have been given the
oceans, rivers, and lakes,
we have been given all
that Nature contains,
including our bodies
our heart, mind and soul,
is giving thus not expected of all.
 

    Most like to help
 stretch out a hand
to the less fortunate,
donations, grants, gifts
foundations, endowments
show that kindness, goodwill
grace, compassion, humanness
assist, aid, benefit those in need,
for we tend to be benevolent and
considerate in caring for each other.

To be charitable,
a requirement in
every major faith,
in at least one, for thousands of years
a prerequisite together with repentance and
prayer to mitigate and remove an otherwise
harsh decree brought upon oneself when one
disregards the call to help others, as they themselves,
when in need, would want to be helped.
