FOCUS
Great are the
dangers
facing our civilization
man's tolerance to man
virtually
nonexistent,
philosophies of hate
usurped by religion,
have fanned the
flames
of the masses making rationality
all but an
impossibility.
Were we but armed
as in
days past
with sword and spear,
we could much better face
that which
has already begun
to spiral slowly out of place,
yet in our day
science and technology
have made the
unthinkable possible,
to
where if Pandora's box
were opened,
tragedies of such magnitude
would
ensue
creating a madness throughout
all mankind, making
a reversal
virtually impossible.
Yes, we are out of
Focus
we've forgotten what we are about -
power, greed, domination
have
thwarted the efforts of the few
who would point the way
to a long range
future for us,
urging mankind to work towards
a common goal, for the good
of all,
putting aside once and forever
the differences that divide
us,
lifting the whole of civilization
to the single task now before
it,
the challenge of exploration,
the thrill of colonization,
of
breaking lose from earthbound
ways of old
to enter for all time
a
permanent new phase
with all of our Focus
now set on
space.
