FLAMES OF LOVE

The fire that dances with sparkling flame in your hearth
gives light and warmth to its surrounding space,
reflecting its shadows upon your glowing face,
gracing your lovely hair with fire's glow,
my heart races out to your warm embrace
to you only, my one and only love.

Let thus your random thoughts
wander among the pathways of your mind
giving solace, comfort to the warm blanket
of your embracing thoughts, fraught but with
the desire and longing of the nectar to be drawn
from deep within the rich blossom of love;
that deservedly is ours once our hearts entwine
for you, sweetest of all, desire this to happen
as much, if not more so, than does your
most humble servant of your heart and soul.

As the fire now consumed with flames
draws down the energy it converted into heat and light
so too, let us not tarry too long to reach our goal
let us be bold, positive and forward,
act while the warmth of our hearts and
the light of our souls, shows us the path we must follow.
Come then my gracious, kind, light spirited friend
take my hand, thus we will jointly start on our way.
