FIVE FOR FUN

The rule for this poem,
words only five alpha long,
aim, I'll try to make it so -
many, are short words to be found,
their uses to be put to test -
for to write a poem
with only five alpha long,
must truly put one on a quest,
to find the 'just so' right lines
that do not make this poem a jest.

When you go to a book shop and
see a book you might like,
do you judge it by its cover
or do you pick one that is light,
which ever way you chose
when you have a book in hand
it might, as if by magic,
make you feel as if you
were part of a club or clan,
not only that, but
when you then view the book,
turn the pages, read and look,
do you, once every now and then,
get lost in the book, to where
you can just not put it down again.
It would only be fair
from my point of view,
for I should know since
I've been in the trade,
that takes place often
you are not alone,
just think of being happy,
put a smile on your face,
for you found a rare
item of merit on this very day.
