FASCINATING SPIRIT
Many moons ago
At an Albuquerque Inn,
In New Mexico
I saw your radiant glow.
Instantly, magically,
undeniably
I was drawn to your visage,
Your large almond dark eyes
Matched with gleaming long black hair,
Your nose just perfect for your face
Broad lips aching to be kissed,
I fell in love with you
Right then and there.
The years flew by
Decades passed
Yet I held on
You were there
At my bequest.
My love never waned,
Just recently I realized
When looking deeply
Into your exotic eyes,
I felt a warm glow
With gentle smile.
It seemed my long love was being returned,
That you are able to understand,
Mystical, mysterious factors abound
Quantum theories possibly around,
We pledged our spiritual souls be bound
Together with our hearts as One
From here on into eternity,
My dearest Love -
Your Portrait will never be the same.
