Falling

I was tossing and turning,

Trying my best to sleep.

But sleep won't come to meet me,

I looked at the clock, it's running,

For no reasons I began to weep,

Soundlessly, silly me.

I crept down the stairway,

And switched on my PC.

In the middle of the night for me,

'Hello' I just wanted to say.

And I just wanted to see,

Maybe you will be there waiting for me.

The intended 'Hello' just dragged on and on,

And in the blink of an eye an hour has gone.

Then two, then three, then four, then five,

Funny, how quickly the morning crept on.

It's rosy fingers spreading across the horizon,

You have become an important part of my life.

And like the morning light that dawns,

I realized then what I refused to see,

Why talking to you meant so much to me.

I have done the unbelievable it had shown,

Falling in love through the net, I'll be,

For that is just not level headed me!

But despite all these impracticalities,

I have decided to take courage in both hands, you see,

And I thank God daily that I did,

And I thank you for telling me,

That you love me,

For I would never have told you if you never did.
