EQUATION
We balance
that
which we think we need
though our judgment oft impaired
whether
pertaining to
our emotional or physical need
we tend to
overcompensate
or underrate just what it is
we really need with
what we
think we want.
This imbalance
our
lives does affect
for the scales of balance
are thus often
upset
causing us to react in ways strange
to try to compensate to once
more
set the balance straight,
yet, more often than not
we fail in our
quest
to take the proper measures
that would correct
those self
inflicted ways
which set in motion
our negative results
causing our
mental equation,
thus our balance,
to completely unfold.
