So complex the emotions
they cannot be described,
culminating in a pinnacle
of confused emotions, of chaos
when her near presence is sensed,
I am emotionally in trouble
finding it difficult to stabilize,
gradually emotions subtly subside,
giving a more calm outward
appearance, with a small smile-
 seemingly oblivious of my plight,
she fluently converses mirthfully
then taking her place adjacent to me,
 gently, pleasantly leaning on my side
thus placing my emotions in jeopardy,
once more feeling overwrought, surprised,
 I am happily trying my best to control myself
for I feel her radiant warmth permeate,
wonderful the feeling of compatibility,
caring, coziness, fondness, empathy, 
my emotions now more calm, suddenly
a feeling of strong affection taking hold,
she, sensing the change instinctively
immediately holds my hand deliberately,
placing her head on my shoulder,
presently an accepted silence sets in,
the magic evening hours become bolder
and a most memorable night grows older.
