Come fly with me
On Wings of Poetry
Touching the many paths
Of your collective memory.

Through some of the loveliest days
Where pleasures everlasting remain
Recalling events unexpected, ingrained
Deeply embedded in the depths of your mind.

As you carefully digest each word written
Coming from the poet’s mind, heart and soul
Recalling related lingering thoughts of your own
Loosing yourself in wishes, hopes, fantasies of long ago.

You may feel more relaxed
In your contemplative mode
Bringing past shadows to life once more
Creating your own elated poetry in your mind.
