To you who had planned
hoped, expected, worked
hard to finalize your plans
only to see them diminish
falter, dwindle, evaporate
fulfillment has eluded you.

Your frustration, sadness,
dejection, dismay, despair
leaves you in a down state
of despondency, depression
hopelessness, displeasure,
yet a turnabout may occur.

Your success, happiness
may still be attainable if
you pause, analyze, think,
your goals as set too high
giving credence to others to
make their wish yours as well.
