Our lives impacted, on hold
while remedies are sought,
some situations manageable
answers to others are not,
valiant efforts undertaken-
to fix that which is at stake.

Success for the successful
failure for those who fail,
events wholly unavoidable
cataclysmic illness terminal,
natural, man made disasters-
in a nutshell, no one to blame.
