WORLD

The testosterone is running high
And all the girls love a uniform.
Paranoia rages quietly
With fear and excitement.
This time there will be
No marching off to war
Singing songs of Lilli.
All the shining boy toys
The trappings and parades
All the medals and the speeches
The youthful cameraderie-----
What for?

It's time humanity grew up
And found the way to debate.
Solution is there,
Just bend with tolerance.
No side is right,
No side is wrong.
There is no winner,
There is no loser----
Only pride and prejudice,
Death and arrogance.
Heroes go to save the world----
What for?

Who can imagine a child
Who has never seen a flower?
The beautiful youth of a world
Will die in fearful carnage,
And the genes of the future
Will be eternally gone.
Who will be left to grieve?
Let our stupidity
Die with our race
And our world.
