CONTEMPLATING

The sky is blue the day is new

I so look forward to seeing you

your face your smile your eyes

a happy kind person quite nice.

I love the way you take my hand

as we stroll by our meadowland

happily chatting, getting tanned

our leisurely walk coming to end.

Time to relax, have some lunch

a cozy booth we'll have brunch

all the time our eyes will smile,

as we feed both body and mind.

It seems to me that days like this

are genuine pleasures full of bliss

a happy parting with hug and kiss

already planning for our next mix.
