CONSTRAINTS
of the Heart

Our emotional heart
apart of our physical
one often controls us.

Heart to heart is what we seek
Heart to heart we like to speak
Love lives in our hearts from birth
Love's desires will live until death
We search for a compatible heart,
One we feel may be our counterpart
Those who find their dream heart
Are fortunate, off to a good start.

Yet, over time, in the closest of hearts
Constraint may evolve and develop
Resulting in a strain upon both hearts,
Limitations placed on one of the hearts
May cause resentment, a change of heart
Misunderstandings leading to impasse,
Arguments, deadlock, hardened hearts,
Avoidance, understanding, reawakening-
Your reborn love will shield your hearts.
