cancel my flight to nowhere
cancel all my cumulated accounts
cancel my wife who's gone
cancel my latest love to boot
cancel my reservation to happiness
cancel that which is not to be
cancel the wind in my face
cancel the warmth of the sun
cancel the light of hope
that is not there for me
cancel the fire that burns within
cancel the smile upon my face
cancel all but the very thing
that will cancel all of the above
namely my undying faith
in each human soul
