BOOKS
Many variations of
books exist, not only
in Braille, tape or disk,
but more recently
electronically to be
viewed on your screen
quite instantaneously.
To those of you that
still like to read with
the feel of book in hand
for sheer pleasure
and quiet enjoyment
I empathize with you
and congratulate you
on your most prodigious
endeavor.
There is a thrill
in turning the
very first page
as you commence
with anticipation and
some curiosity just
what it is that the
author has in store
for you and how well
he has your attention.
If you have chosen well,
will this be one of those
more rare occasions where
you have found a most
appropriate book that
you cannot put down
until you have reached
its total termination.
How wonderful then
to be lofted far away
from mundane cares
enmeshed in a new
world invented by
skillful writers
everywhere who
diligently try their
very best to create
literary joy for your
relaxation and rest.
