Beholden am I to her
 who brings bright rays
of sunshine to my life,
genuine and pure, her
warmth and goodness
deeply touch my heart,
the words that reach me
full of kindness, concern
her thoughtfulness show,
honesty, sincerity indeed
her truthfulness reveal;
dedication, maturity her
spiritual strength reinforce,
a mother par excellence, she,
our friendship nurtures with
wisdom, insight, care,
crafting with endless patience
the promise of a close,
blossoming friendship,
I am beholden to her.
