I´VE KNOWN MY BEDROOM
I've known my bedroom.
I've known all the stuffed animals
piled high upon the floor,
and the sweet smells of perfume lurking in the air.
I have climbed the highest mountain,
or swam the biggest ocean,
when I lay in bed dreaming the night away.
I have laughed many memories,
and cried many moments
in my bedroom alone.
I looked throughout my room to find
the missing puzzle piece
for that unfinished puzzle.
I heard the wind whistling by my window when
there was a storm outside.
I've known my bedroom like no other,
with all my secrets stored away.
These memories fill my heart as I drift off to sleep.
