Dear Lord

Thank you Lord  I'm given so much

a warm home, family and all I need to live
and much, much more
and I'm living in a quiet corner in the world.
I can look at the beautiful sunset -
the ocean I love so much.
I need not to be lonely
I have a family who I'm fond of
it's easy to be fond of them who love you.
Not so easy to love them who have hurt you
or did so to one of your nearest.
I know Lord I need not to get all this.
I could have been living in another place in the world
where all these things
which I take as necessity
is only a dream for the people
who live there.
They are people as me
with good and bad  points
therefore they  deserve a better life.
I'm sorry Lord that I don't always
have gratitude in my mind
I got so much and did not
give back a drop of what I really got.
                                                        

Tonight I will say thank you
and forgive me Lord
when I'm selfish and ungrateful -
Good night Lord -
 
Dear Lord
please give me some sweet dreams.
