The day over, the night
begun
swarms
of people escaping life
descend upon a myriad of places for
fun,
relief
from the daily grind
they are out to have a good time,
entertainment of all kind,
eateries to fit the palate of
humankind
pleasures to be found to fill, to satiate,
free, loose souls hoping for a
date
well
heeled one must be, to participate
this is no game, one can make a fatal
mistake,
yet
all is thrill, laughter, food and wine
the more risqué the shows, the more
inspired,
no,
here nothing is divine,
The night wears on, complete with array of neon
signs,
some
found success in what they sought
while others seek and search as the night looks
on,
much is
sham, much is fake
still people hope to get a break,
rays of early morning sun
help dissolve the crowd, clear the
deck
as a new
day dawns, life returns to the mundane.
