Far from these shores
on a distant Continent
across the deep wide sea
lives a very precious one 
who means the most to me.

Leagues of rolling ocean blue
a bright starry canopy at night
follow Crux the Southern Cross
for endless days, longer nights
finally  to find my sweet delight.

Wish as once before
we would be together once more
to savor our long cherished love
hold, embrace, kiss, caress for
all our days never again sail forth.
