A TOAST

A toast to the Year
we've seen
A toast to where
we have been

A year full of
pleasures and pain
A year that we'll recall
was not in vain

A year that we've
spent together
A year that rendered
us asunder

A year in which
hope was kind
A year in which
our hearts entwined

A year despite
all the pain
We will now end with a
'Toast' of Champagne.
