A PLEASURE, MADAME

Dearly Beloved my heart took a spin

When one late evening there was a ring,

An emotional charming voice softly said

Dearest Heart let us be together again.

My mind thought of soft eyes of blue

As blue as the cloudless azure view,

Deep eyes that smile and speak of love

Tender and sparkling as the stars above.

To mind came her lips with gentle smile

Exotic, enticing, inviting, surely to beguile,

Unforgettable lips that have bestowed a kiss

Quickly followed by one of intense longer bliss.

Her embraces too, a sign a true devotion

Hugs, butterfly kisses showing deep emotion,

A pair of warm hands together in tight clasp

Our moment of love entwined, so hard to grasp.

My response in somewhat less than firm voice

Considering the high stakes of our lives' choice,

Was an unequivocal, positive affirmative one

As heart to heart I said, A Pleasure, Madame.
